From the Darkened Deeps I Will Rise, A Paragon of Wrath and Vengeance

Dear non-existant figments of my imagination that I call readers,

This blogpost is about one thing, and one thing only: How painfully bored I am now.

I'm in South Africa on "Holiday" and my Parents seem to insist on avoiding fun as much as possible and are having a jolly good time playing family infront of their friends with horribly uneducated opinions about youth while sipping countless bottles of wine. Simply showing interest that I want to walk around the village to see what it is like but simply talking seems to be a taboo among these adults. NO. We have to sit in the ugly hotel and drink wine. Ray, you can drink a Fanta, have fun in the corner. FFFFFF...

Children should be seen, not heard.

The only time I say anything is when my parents want me to portray their forced opinions about stupid matters that I haven't been interested in for years.

We are also in the middle of NOWHERE. Endless vinyards with a tiny village with goss food and nothing interesting around for literal miles. What is worse is that my computer has broken down, most likely due to the assholery of some camel sucking horseface at school. To risk sounding like a tennage drama series I am freaking out without constant contact to my friends since my mobile has zero connection.

BAWDAWDASDAFSD

Its boring here. I dont like not being in cities. and this is the first full day. THe flights took around 24 hours. Which was fine since I didn't sa anything to anyone for that time and noone talked to me. Yay.

Reflecting, I see that this makes me sound like a complaining teenage city girl, which I really do feel like

Goddamn im so bored i could die. I am going to do my homework. and then i will DIE.

Please Put Your Ghostly Tounge in my Mouth and Move it all Around

The title of this post has little to with what i am going to talk about, but hey, at least I'm not from Molde.

So guys and girls,

I am lazy. Incredibly so. The type that would rather use 30x more effort and time than just doing something i try to avoid. The result is a weird vicious cycle of regret and procrastination.

This is great cause im in the IB where we write 3000 word essays in a week with heaps of other homework.

B'aaaaaaaw

I like complaining. not like it isn't obvious but I thought that I might mention so that you understand that i am aware of it and im not just a cry baby. Even though, I actually am. :c

Too lazy; didn't read: B'AAAAAAAAW

Walrus Barbeque Seventeen

Hi. I'm sitting in my room on my bed and i decided to just type whatever comes into my head because my mind is racing right now and i've had way too much caffeine and normally i would hate someone who would call themselves hyper but right now im bouncing off the walls and im obsessed with large snakes eating people so ive drawn it multiple times in my "sketchbook" even though i cant draw. Dear god this is weird. Im shaking and my legs won't stand still. Skill. kill. Thrill. Mill.

rhyme, time, mime.

So me and Markus decided that the best indie rock band name possible must be Mutual Pancake Touching because it is three random words and indie folks like that stuff.

Ok Question tiem: Am I am Elitist?

Answer: I'm not sure. Is it possible to know if you are a snooty bastard if you are one. I hope im not am asshole to everybody but sometimes i dont know. I do tend to look down of some people. sheeple. Steeple. feeble. peon. farmer. Orc. Farmer. jasson statham is really bald.

Jason Statham is fantastic you know. I mean he is big build and beats people up while undressing. can you do that ? i cant but i wish i could. It would be an interesting skill like knowing how to draw. I wish i could draw. :( i cant because whenever i try i always give up and draw cartoon faces. I guess cartoons count as drawings but they aren't arty. Even though i may be half of the arty elitist couple im not that arty. Sure i watch asian films about metal men who have gay embryo sex but yeah.

So pirating movies. What is your feelings on that Ray? Well ray let me answer that question.
I dont know snow go boe low mow tow.

I feel bad because i dont like coffee goth omg RANDUM but ifeel this blog post is kinda OMGRANDUMLOL.

I am ashamed but i shouldn't be becasue im wearing blue show do moo doo lou crew sue through.

TEE HEE HE WINDOWS

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHaHAHHHHH

i apologize for this

ps. Guess what im not a robot.

Fun in the Sun

Haiku time:

Welcome to summer,
Sun, outdoors, swimming, beaches
I fucking hate this

I hate the heat and the sun. I want fall again. Fall truly is the most superior of the seasons.
Picture is my feelings on this holiday.

I tell you about nice things and insist that you enjoy them or else you are a lame and you don't want to be lame, do you?

Good afternoon.

Today I thought I could tell you about some things that I enjoy to try to make you happy by letting you enjoy them aswell.

Music:

of Montreal: of Montreal is a band from Athens, Georgia. Making salty sweet, fast beat, Indie pop tunes about everything from black crossgendered 70's funk singers to songs about depression while living in Norway. Kevin Barnes, the singer-songwriter is truly a genius. The band has some sing-out-loud-while-skipping-down-mainstreet songs and some that are depressing and tragic. Being part of the legendary elephant-six recording label, of Montreal is a true tragic treat.

Recommended Albums:
-The Gay Parade
-Hissing Fauna, are you the Destroyer?

Gay parade is early of Montreal and is a childish and cute while Hissing fauna is a much more deep and sad tale about how Kevin Barnes transforms into his alter ego Georgie Fruit.

http://www.ofmontreal.net/

Los Campensinos!: Another Indie pop band from Whales. This 7 member band is spastastically amazing. Playing a plethora of cheery instruments, Los Campensinos! combines fast cheery instumentals with smart and interesting lyrincs. I really love this band and have been listening to them constantly since I found out about them. This band also reminds me of Tomato Soup Girl.

Recommended Album:
-Hold On Now Youngster

http://www.myspace.com/loscampesinos

Movies:

From Dusk Till Dawn: What does Quentin Tarantino, George Clooney, Robert Rodriguez, vampires, strippers and unbelievable amounts of action have in common? They are all featured in this movie! I just saw From Dusk Till Dawn and I have to admit that it is an INCREDIBLY over the top movie that is simply fun to watch. It is about two bank robbing brothers played by Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney who end up in a bar called "the Titty Twister" along with their 3 hostages and discover that it is an all-you-can-eat diner for vampires. Blood spatter ensues. A very funny and very action packed movie that shouldn't be taken seriously.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116367/

Fear and loathing in Las Vegas: The epic Hunter S. Thompson story was made into a movie in 1998. Raoul Duke played by Johnny Depp is lookng for the "American Dream" along with his crazy samoan lawyer. They go to Lass Vegas along with, and I quote:
"two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls."

So basically they go on a psychedlic, drug fuelled trip (pun intended) around las Vegas andjust do crazy shit. It is a interesting film with great narration and acting by Johnny Depp and his partner Bencio Del Toro. Toby Maguire also makes a few funny appearances.

Dutch trip (forgive spelling and grammar)

DAG 1: It was 2.30 in the morning. The dim lights flickering at the local bunnpris invited me back to sleep. With my tourist costume on i met up with my friend ready to kick some dutch ass. The buss was tiresome. No sleep in over 18 hours
After the painful flight and train,
we arrived in the town of Breda
where an armada of weird looking, greased up dutch monkey people took our baggage and walked us down to the local pub.
it was the middle of the day and without sleep, i crawled back to their school and tried to stay awake through a German and a french class.
upon arriving home, the welcoming scent of lavender toilet soap and french fries stuck me as i walked into the small cramped room of Sjoerd, my match.
Blackout as i probably slept for 12 hours straight

Day 2: Woke up to sounds of birds chirping. Spring time had obviously come to the flat flat country we lived in.

After finding out about that dutch people eat sprinkles for breakfast we cycled our 50 minutes to get the school.
once getting off the extremely awesome, laid back chrome handlebars bike, my legs became jelly and i fell over in front of a gang of ugly degenerate dutch kids. Pride broken, along with my ability to walk, I struggled to get up to the classroom where the overly effeminate teacher named Wim told us about the city walk we were going to have to survive. Panic struck. I was far too tired, I had slept 12 h
hours of the last 50
and my mind was wandering off.
While walking through the city streets of the city, i looked at the bars and pubs and thought about the day to day activities of these orange loving europeans. they party every weekend without remorse and just tear shit apart.
once the city walk was over we went into town.
I think i fell asleep in the bar while the others were watching. I didn't care, the only thing i did care about was just shutting my eyes and thinking about pixies and leprechauns.
we cycled home and i slept more

The Mind

Hello children.

Today, while laying on the floor in my messy room, I thought about what the mind is to the body.
The mind reacts to our senses: hearing, feeling, seeing, smelling and tasting. Without these, we wouldn't know anything. We wouldn't know that we existed, our lived in anyway.

But does the mind exist without the knowledge of the body? Is the mind something completely for its self that operate and works in ways that we can truly never understand?

I really hope that the thoughts aren't just random electrical surges. i want the mind to be like an invisible ballon attached to our bodies that gets bigger or smaller because we fill it up with all our thoughts and feelings and when we die the balloon floats on into the peaceful abyss and this abyss is what we might call the afterlife.

Nihilist last note: We probably end when we die. im going to listen to the Unicorns album "who will cut our hair when we are gone?" and get all depressed because at some point I will cease to be.

More complaining about non-imporant things.

A certain overachieving Asian has begun his crusade to spread the word about the joy and sorrows of lists. His unhealthy obsession with self improvement has reached the point where he needs to write down 5 things that he needs to do every day. He is planning on walking up at 5 AM in the MORNING EVERY DAY, FOREVER. This is frighteningly retarded. Since he is the type who does ALL of his homework, often stretching long into the wee hours of the morning, he will obliterate his sleep pattern and soon he will become a nocturnal animal who writes lists, works out and eats bananas for lunch.

Ps. BAAWWWW im going to die because im so lazy Bawww

Guess who's back back back....

So my dearest non-existent readers,

as you might have noticed, I have not posted anything on this fan-diddly-tastic blog in a long time.
This is why I want to give you hugely big and awesome update before I run off the see new STAR TREK movie. :3

I've been to Germany and went to Fedcon where the first 2 pictures are from. The sight of so many social outc-... ummm I mean 'Sci-Fi fans', made me very happy. All walking around in their tiny bubbles of injokes and awkwardness with other people living in similar bubbles, waiting to see their favorite television actors talk for an hour and a half about their extremely detailed and improumtu explanations about how the characters they played a decade would act in hypothtical situations.

2 days after coming back, I left dear the frozen north to go to The Netherlands (or the Underworld like I say).

10 days of patying hard with my Pre-IB class and our dutch matches was boatloads of fun. Everything from eating DE-RI-CIOUS Stroopwaffles to making out and singing "Singing in the Rain" in the rain was, to put it lightly, awesome.
I think i might make a diary from this trip and post it here, beause I probably have to do one for school anyway.

By the way...

My exams went pretty well. 4 on the math and 3/4 in Norwegian. I have yet to recieve my english exam because my teacher was probably using it to dry blood stains off of her wall.

Final word of warning: Do not eat
Croquettes or Frikadellen. Ewww

Her Royal Highness Raiko Gorgophone, Queen of Siam

After weeks of waiting, complaining and trying to speak to Swedes (which is surprisingly hard), Dell sent over an awesome technician to install my much needed Hard Drive.

Thank God.

The rebirth of my portable baby was a good chance to give it a new name.

Her Royal Highness, Raiko Gorgophone, Queen of Siam.

Raiko (get it RAY-ko tee hee hee) is a japanese girls name meaning "next child", which fits because this is the second time this pc is new, and Gorgophone is just awesome. It's meaning is grim slayer. Which is more br00tal than Vlad the Impaler.

Oh and its a queen because I've always wanted to say that I am sitting on the Queen.

Also, add personas to firefox and get the LOLface (awesome smiley) skin. The Screenshot is related.

The Joy of Comparisons!

YAW MAN! WUT UP!?

Just thought I would post some random thoughts I've been having lately.

- I have concluded that these bands are very, very good: Modest Mouse and Ogre You Asshole. I've loved Modest Mouse for a long time but I sorta re-discovered them. I felt the joy of listening to their albums for the first time, again, which as you should be able to conclude, is hard to do.
Ogre You Asshole is a Japanese band and actually sounds quite a bit like Modest Mouse. They have catchy songs that you want to sing along to, but can't because it is sung in moon-language.

- I like the Norwegian stereotypical soss. This is rare for elitist hipster scum like myself, but listen to this. Soss are douchebags, but better. Instead of heading out do "da club" to pick up tanorexic semi-women, soss prefer to sit in the sun, bathing in their riches, their strangely homosexual clothing and their bad taste in (mostly) bad taste in music.

Also, just compare the two pictures, it really isn't that hard to decide.

The Nine...

Posted by Picasa

This is a 3x3 of my favorite 9 albums in no particular order. Hard decisions were made in the making of this picture, but I decided that these are my favorite whole albums. I chose these based that they are all round great, not just a few songs. All these albums have great songs and multiple memorable moments.

They are as follows. Left to right.

1. Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
2. of Montreal - Hissing Fauna, are you the Destroyer?
3. The Cat Empire - Two Shoes
4. Kleenex Girl Wonder - Ponyoak
5. Pink Floyd - Piper at the Gates of Dawn
6. Modest Mouse - Good News for People who Love Bad News
7. Brian Eno - Another Green World
8. The Unicorns - Who Will Cut our Hair when we're Gone?
9. CAKE - Comfort Eagle

Hard Weeks Ahead AKA Me Complaining About Things

Tentamen.

The "mock exams" that count for a large part of our final grade, the painful week simply shoving the fact in our face that another year has ran by and the torture of sitting inside for 7 days studying while joyous youngster frolic in the fresh spring heat.

Tomorrow (approximately 10.5 hours from now) I will in a small magenta colored classroom, staring down at a terrifying document known as fransktentamen. My french 1 exam is going to be boring and a failure. Because, as I am writing this, precious seconds get wasted that I could be spending writing down french words with no translation.

My weekend is going to be busy doing 2 things. Practicing our play for my drama from the crack of dawn (10 am counts as the crack of dawn during the weekend) and studying "theoretical mathematics".

Monday will probably be wasted away until around 11 pm when I realize that maybe I should do some preparation for the Norwegian exam.

Tuesday will be spent weeping over how mind numbingly boring, yet ironically, horribly stressful the exam is. Then I will start preparing for the English exam. I want/physically need a perfect score on the English and our teacher is hard to impress. I think i will make an entire post about our teachers some other time.

Wednesday will be spent practicing The Spanish Fly (my drama group's next performance) and perhaps fearing the big dark hole my English teacher will put me in if I don't come to school with 10 dictionaries, 20 non-Wikipedia pages from the internet, 2 spare memory sticks, an extra pair of pants in case I piss myself in fear and an emergency number on my telephone for when I try poisoning myself if something doesn't save.

Thursday is the English exam and I think you can guess how I feel about it.

Friday. HERP DERP MATH DURR HURRF. I really don't want to take this exam because I really, really, really need to do well. My math grades are all over the place and this could make or break my grade. I also have to dress up as a rabbit (technically a hare) and be mistaken for the Easter Bunny.

Saturday will be yet another day of paid humiliation when I go to work. As a Bunny rabbit.

Sunday....ummm...Could it posssibly be?....is it possible that....I don't have anything to do on Sunday? Of course not. I have the big fat dutch project I need to work on. Plus practice for the play.

Will I survive this long tiresome week of exams and little social interaction? Yes. Will I enjoy it? No.

Final thought: writing this blog has been the best form of distraction and procrastination ever. I'm going to go back to writing french words and reading about the lonely nerd Guillaume.

Edit thought: I hate the words physical and inertia because it seems like there are hundreds of ways to spell them.

I Saw the Original Pokémon Movie, 10 Years Ago ;_;

Good evening dear Children.

The time is 10:05, April 13th, 2009.

Did you know that 1999 was 10 years ago? that means the following things are ten years old:

* The Original apple iBook.
* The "1st" star wars movie
* The Matrix
* The first Pokémon movie
* The use of the Euro €
* Mahir Cagir (Hint: Proto-Borat)
http://www.istanbul.tc/mahir/mahir/
What is even more shocking? think about this question quickly:

How long ago was 1970?

That's right, almost 40 years ago.

I added this cover by Stone Gossard of the Prince classic 1999, which i have as a vinyl single :3

Triple Ray Extravaganza and why I like Picasa.

Here I am with a pair of Ray-Ban Clubmasters. Striking a Ray Charles pose. With random effects from Picasa.

Picasa is really tons of fun. Just seeing what photos look like with different effects. I am surprised by how well the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button works. You should download it and play with it. It's also great for simple organization of your photos, pictures and, in my case at least, your extensive horror manga collection.

Oh, and did I mention it can directly upload to blogger?

The King of Siam and his Many Adventures

Three photos of me that i uploaded through the glorious program called picasa. Obviously, I hit the "warmify" button on these and "tint" on the last one. It just makes everything so much more cute.

1. Me looking like a true taoist thinker in a gazebo-ish thing in Kew Gardens, London.
2. The R in Disneyland California.
3. The swing ride in Dyreparken, Kristiansand.

Ps. Notice the face on that wheel.

The Earth Spins Around and Around and Around...

Hello dear children.

It is currently 9:19 pm on the 11th of April. It's a Saturday. The noisy sounds of At the Drive-In contrasts well against the otherwise boring spring night.

It's dark outside, which is interesting, because I like the idea that on the other side of the earth, the sun is shining and people are out and about. Isn't that a weird fact? I mean really think it. Everything on earth is constantly spinning because the earth it's self is spinning. Why does it spin? I don't know. Don't you think that it should be important to learn why the earth spins? I was never taught this in school. I am happy that I am old enough not to freak out to realize this well known fact.

If i were 5 and actually thought about it, I'm not sure how I would react. I would probably wonder that if I walked straight forward at the speed that the earth spins for 24 hours, would i ever move? Unfortunately, i know this answer to this question.

The earth spins. All the time. Forever.
Wow.

Am I just easily impressed or fascinated by simple and childish thoughts? Probably.
